Information for Donors

Donations to PCR make a real difference in the lives of individuals with developmental differences and their families. PCR is recognized by the Catalogue for Philanthropy as “among the best small charities in the Greater Washington region,” validating our commitment to excellence, cost-effectiveness and impact. We keep our overhead extremely low, so 86% of every dollar that is donated goes directly to our programs.

There are a number of tax-advantaged giving opportunities available that enable you to help PCR while maximizing the deductions available to you for your contribution. Please consult your tax advisor.

You can designate your gift for general operating support or for a specific program that is important to you.

Your gift can recognize a special occasion such as a birthday, graduation, anniversary, promotion or retirement, through a tribute gift. A memorial gift can honor a loved one who has died. PCR will inform the specified person or family of your thoughtfulness.

Some employers make matching gifts. Your employer may match all or part of your gift. Please check with your human resources or benefits office for your company’s policy.

Ways you can give:
